Mackinac Island Wedding Photography at Grand Hotel

We LOVE working with couples getting married at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island!  And I was so excited when Andrea contacted me to shoot her wedding.  Here is a sneak peek from this beautiful Mackinac Island wedding!  It was a perfect day for everyone, so be sure to check back here for more images from the day!

The flowers were beautiful at the ceremony location, and Andrea's son was ADORABLE walking down the long front porch of Grand Hotel!

The weather couldn't have been better and the sky couldn't have been prettier!  It was a perfect day for a Mackinac Island wedding, with views of the Mackinac Bridge in the background!

One of my favorite parts of the day, as a photographer, is the time I get with the bride and groom alone to go around Mackinac Island and create some beautiful portraits for the two of them!

Taking a few moments to relax on the West Porch of Grand Hotel, and soak in the wedding day, is a must for all Grand Hotel brides and grooms!

This picture is a sneak peek into the story of a gifted woman who has a special way of connecting with horses.  We were captivated watching our bride, Adrienne, interact with this beautiful friesian horse on her wedding day.

We are looking forward to sharing more from this Mackinac Island wedding soon!

Stacie and Chad's Mackinac Island wedding was everything a wedding photographer could ask for.  A fun couple, a great group of friends, sunshine, and a perfect Mackinac Island summer day at Mission Point Resort!

Stacie and Chad held their wedding ceremony at Mission Point Resort's Gazebo on the front lawn.  Afterwards, we took some time for family photos and a stroll around the resort for photos with just the two of them.  We had so much fun, and the sunshine was perfect during their entire day!  After the bride and groom portrait time, everyone celebrated the newlyweds with a reception in the Cypress Room at Mission Point Resort.

Stacie, you were a beautiful bride, and Chad you were equally as handsome.  We hope you love this sneak peek at your wedding photos!  ENJOY!

We LOVED the bride's wedding gown and the soft colors of her bridesmaids' dresses!  Plus, her cascading bridal bouquet was so unique and elegant!

The groom was dressed in a grey suit, which is perfect for a summer wedding on Mackinac Island!

The purple Calla Lillies were a perfect touch of color for the bridesmaids bouquets!

I LOVE this shot that Mark got, in The Summit Room at Mission Point, of the groom with his groomsmen just before the wedding ceremony at The Gazebo at Mission Point Resort!

One of my favorite moments is when a father walks his daughter down the aisle.  And this walk across the front lawn of Mission Point Resort is ALWAYS a touching moment, and a beautiful walk for the bride and her father to take one last deep breath before meeting up with the groom at the alter.

We LOVE when a bride and groom give us time to take relaxed images with just the two of them.  Not only is it a great documentation of their love for one another, but it's also a perfect chance for them to take a few moments and slow down during the day to focus on each other!  These images of Stacie & Chad by the water in front of Mission Point are a perfect example of this!

It's always fun to witness a good cake cutting that ends in a little cake smashing, and lots of laughter!
