Welcome to our blog!

We are Mark & Noelle McCoy, that's us in the picture above!  We are a husband & wife Northern Michigan photography team serving couples who care deeply about their wedding pictures and who want vibrant and classic imagery that documents their day.  We photograph weddings on Mackinac Island, Traverse City, and everywhere in-between.  We have also shot weddings internationally in beautiful places like Guatemala and Italy, not to mention a handful of beautiful places across our own country from North Carolina, to Texas, Tennessee and Ohio!

Thank you for stopping by our blog… please send us an email if you'd like to talk with us about your wedding plans!

We are currently booking for 2014 and 2015.

Mark & Noelle, photographers

Mackinac Island's Most Popular Wedding Photographer

Sit down in comfortable chair, grab a cup of coffee and take a deep breath.  It's Monday.  This  little blog we've started is not just about  photography, but also about life, what inspires us and some of  the details that fall inbetween the lines.  We want to get to know you (leave us a comment or send us an  email!) and hopefully you'll get to know alittle more about us.

Mark and I have a lot of things in common.  Our love for Colleen+Allen is one of those things.  It's because of these two that we have a new love for Southern music.  Before Colleen+Allen, I (Noelle) had never heard of Levon Helm.  But forever more, I will stop what ever I'm doing when Levon comes on, and do a little party dance because Levon makes me happy.

Ok.  Maybe it's not really Levon that makes me happy, but rather a combination of Levon+Colleen+Allen.

Colleen+Allen, you two seriously have the "it" factor in my book.  You are the cool kids on the block.  You are WAY more fun than a monkey and a chinese acrobat.  And your wedding at the Country Music Hall of Fame is still one of our favorites.  For real.  So, we raise a glass to you two and hope that life is going great!

We don't have many words to describe the love that was at the wedding, the laughter that surrounded the day, and the fact that we knew ALL the inside jokes.  Guess that's what happens when you shoot your little sisters wedding.

Amanda married Taylor in a beautiful ceremony that took place at The Community Church in Hendersonville surrounded by all of their life long friends and family.  Amanda wore a stunning Maggie Sottero Dress, and all the flowers were arranged by long time friend and floral designer Betty Conner.

Amanda+Taylor, Noelle and I are so excited to see that that you both have loving and  supportive families who will be with you as your start your new journey in life.  We LOVELOVELOVE you both and we wish you nothing short of the absolute best in your lifetime adventure together.

Here's to new beginnings!!!

We Love Dayton!

We are SOOO excited to have taken our first step over this past weekend to expand our little business into the Dayton area (so that means no more travel fee's for all of the South-Western Ohio area!)!  So, in addition to continuing our work in Tennessee and Michigan, we will now have a local office in south western Ohio!  After shooting a wedding recently at the Schuster Center, we decided that we loved this area and we're looking forward to working here a lot more in 2011.

A big THANK-YOU goes out to all the wonderful brides and grooms that fought the crowds to our booth and introduced yourselves!  We loved talking with so many of you and we are looking forward to working with you and capturing your big day.

Just a quick note - 2011 is booking quickly.  Due to the number of requests for each date (we are being hammered with new client inquires), we aren't able to hold dates open for couples who haven't finalized their decision.  Remember, bookings are based on signed contracts with a deposit.

Thanks everyone for the phenomenal response.  We look forward to working with all of you!
